Field Service Plant Mechanic - NSW - 29/05/2018

Knowledge of earthmoving equipment, diesel engines and hydraulic systems as well as a moderate level of computer competence are all key attributes for success in this position. This role involves working closely with customers, hiring our wide range of equipment from small hand tools to large engineering, construction and mining equipment and ensuring the paperwork is completed accurately.

Previous Hire experience is preferred but not essential as we offer extensive on the job training for the right person. This job will suit someone who has excellent customer service, enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people, works well under pressure and is attentive to detail.  Previous sales experience would be an advantage.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Maintain all hire records accurately

• Organise equipment deliveries and pick-ups

• Manage quality control including compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards

• Ensure all equipment is maintained well including adequate cleaning, service and regular testing

• Actively contribute to quality improvement and maintain a safe work place and work practices

 

Essential Criteria:

• Current drivers licence

• Relevant industry knowledge and familiarity with equipment range

• Ability to participate in weekend and on-call roster

• Physically fit (in order to complete manual handling requirement involved in this position)

• Strong communication skills and experience in a customer service environment, particularly with large accounts

 

Desirable Criteria:

• Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain within 6-8 months)

• C30239 Electrical Test Course (or willingness to obtain within 6-8 months)

• Mobile platform operating ticket

• Previous experience in equipment rental and/or hire controller experience

The specialised transport and lifting team based in Perth, Western Australia is an industry-leading unit that services major customers requiring ultra-heavy and over dimensional load movements. Our team is expanding as a result of increased work activity, and we require the services of: SPMT Operator

Working within a specialist team, the SPMT operator will be required to:

  • Assemble, disassemble, set and configure (mechanically and electronically) & operate the Self Propelled Modular Trailers (Scheuerle, Nicolas and Cometto) in any configuration with any cargo type / weight
  • Perform prestart checks and perform routine maintenance on SPMT with confidence to execute trouble shooting

Essential Criteria:

  • Mechanical, hydraulic and electronic basic knowledge
  • The ability to properly understand all the technical and engineering documents relevant to SPMT’s and transport operations
  • Safe working track record

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to work within a small Finance team of the National Administration office located at Chester Hill in Sydney’s west.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be involved in the key functions of:

  • matching and processing of overseas supplier invoices against inventory purchase orders for equipment and spare parts
  • processing of freight and duty invoices
  • reconciling supplier accounts in local and foreign currency
  • preparing monthly and weekly payments of supplier invoices
  • liaising with overseas suppliers
  • providing accounting support to the Finance team as and when required

Crushing & Screening Equipment Account Manager - WA - 29/05/2018

The primary function of the Crushing and Screening Account Managers role is to manage client relationships to promote equipment sales and overseeing aftermarket interactions to satisfy customer's requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

The general responsibilities of the role are;

  • Prospect for new business opportunities to promote Metso equipment sales
  • Establish relationships with new customers and maintain contact with existing customers to ensure consideration when equipment purchase decisions are imminent.
  • Provide weekly updates on current prospects, lost sales and market information to the BDM
  • Bring other TBG staff into opportunities to maximise TBG sales/rent wherever possible
  • Hands on management of the sale - delivery process for the customer including; working with service/parts teams to ensure correct/timely equipment preparation and accompany commissioning staff to hand over the machine to the client.
  • Develop technical proficiency on Metso equipment, consumables and Bruno simulation to complement good sales techniques.
  • Maintain a high profile at industry events including attendance at a minimum 4 Industry events in your respective territories, per annum.
  • Prospect for, and risk assess potential candidates, equipment Hire to Buy or Rent opportunities in the following order of preference
    • Hire to buy to qualified customer with a purchase of the unit
    • Long term rent (preferably 6months+) without likely purchase
    • Short term rent
    • Trial for Demo
  • Be the main point of contact for your customers to ensure that the other departments within TBE/TBG are performing accordingly, if required.

Plant Fitter / Technician Field Service Position (Metso) - NSW - 29/05/2018

Tutt Bryant Equipment Pty Ltd, a National Earthmoving Sales and Service provider, requires 1 X Metso Field Service Technicians with mobile crusher experience.

You will be responsible for providing repair and maintenance support to a client base of Metso Crushing & Screening Plant.

The successful candidates must have;

  • A Vehicle License & Medium Rigid truck license would be an advantage.
  • Experience in field service within Earthmoving and or Mining Industry
  • Extensive experience with Electrical Systems
  • Extensive experience with Hydraulic & Hydrostatic drive systems
