Tutt Bryant Elevates Waste Management with McCloskey Environmental

Tutt Bryant is proud to announce a new partnership with McCloskey Environmental, significantly expanding its range of waste management and recycling equipment available across Australia and the Pacific.
As one of Australia’s most established names in construction and heavy machinery, Tutt Bryant continues its commitment to innovation and industry leadership by partnering with McCloskey Environmental – a global brand known for reliable and high-performance solutions in recycling and material processing.
Through this new collaboration, Tutt Bryant becomes the official distributor for McCloskey Environmental in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. As of 1 November 2024, McCloskey shredders, trommels, screens and stackers will join Tutt Bryant’s lineup – filling a critical gap in its waste and recycling portfolio.
Meeting Industry Demands
Paul Doran, National Business Development Manager – Crushing & Screening at Tutt Bryant, says the partnership comes at a pivotal time for the industry.
“We understand that the waste and material management sectors are not going anywhere; it is only going to grow and mature overtime,” says Paul.
“In order to provide the best range for our customers and progress in the right direction, we must advance our operations.”
Prior to this partnership, Tutt Bryant’s waste equipment consisted mostly of landfill compactors, excavators, crushers, screens and shredders. However, there remained a need for specialised machinery in recycling and material processing – a need now met with McCloskey Environmental’s advanced solutions.
“Tutt Bryant Equipment has been distributing landfill compactors and crushers for a long time, predominantly servicing in-situ landfill compaction and concrete repurposing,” he says.
“Previously other suppliers have come in and sold our customers the products that were missing from our portfolio. We identified a need in our customer base and the possibility to extend our inventory of waste management and recycling equipment. Now we have extra equipment to be able to service and facilitate, ensuring we are a one-stop-shop.”
New Machinery In Stock
McCloskey’s wide range of trommels, screens, stackers and shredders will be available through Tutt Bryant. Among them is the ET-620 tracked trommel designed to meet the needs of recycling plants dealing in soils, compost, light construction and demolition waste, wood and bark.
The ET-620 is equipped with a quick-change drum system which allows a machine to be effortlessly changed to a different feed material, eliminating the need for multiple machines and waste streams on-site.
The trommel is compatible with both diesel and fuel-efficient hydraulics systems and has been designed to comply with Australian engine standards.
“McCloskey has tailored the ET-620 to the Australian market to suit our tier three engines,” says Paul.
Also joining the range is the ES-250 tracked primary shredder, designed for versatility in shredding mixed and difficult materials. With a heavy-duty cutting table, 8-10-knife, variable speed main conveyor, and four-metre tracks for manoeuvrability and stability, the ES-250 delivers superior performance on even the most challenging sites.
“This shredder is compatible in both diesel and electric engines and is a very robust machine compared to other shredders in the market,” he says.
“Tutt Bryant Equipment is excited to have these machines in our inventory, as well as other development projects that McCloskey’s working on, which will continue to fill product gaps in the market,” he says.
“These machines have simple design and functionality features, making them easy to use on everyday operations. They are functionally designed for the majority of applications with several different options for further operational flexibility.”
Stronger Network for Better Service
Tutt Bryant has yards and warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, providing customers easy accessibility to spare parts and servicing.
“We have a lot of strength in our network to look after these types of machines, in terms of warehouses and dedicated field service technicians.”
Ready to Support the Future
With this strategic partnership, Tutt Bryant is reinforcing its position as a one-stop-shop for heavy machinery, now offering one of the most comprehensive waste and recycling equipment range in the region.
Tutt Bryant is stocking new machinery in preparation for customer trials later in 2025.
