Crushing Service Solutions C-Rex Conversion
In March 2019 Crushing Service Solutions (CSS) invested in the new Combi C-Rex R29 GET system supplied by Tutt Bryant Equipment for their Caterpillar 980 loader. The loader is operating at a basalt rock quarry in Western Australia loading 300 mm minus rock, while the rock is not overly abrasive it is very hard and sharp.
After 6 months of operation and loading over 500,000 tonnes of material the first set of R29 C-Rex teeth are still on the bucket. CSS are considering converting more of their machines to the C-Rex system.
The C-Rex system is design and manufactured in Sweden with the highest quality materials and casting procedures, every batch is tested and rejected if not to specification. The system is hammerless for safety and the pins are re-usable for lower operating costs. A low profile selfsharpening design ensures optimum penetration to achieve maximum production and fuel savings. Up to 70% of the tooth weight may be used before replacement giving longer life.
