The Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) have just taken delivery of their brand new Bomag BC772RB landfill compactor to be employed at the Councils Caboolture Landfill Site. The purchase of the new Bomag was a made after Council underwent an extensive evaluation of all available Landfill compactors applicable for employment upon their busy Landfill site. The MBRC is one of the largest and most progressive local Government bodies in Queensland and runs an excellent waste and recycling program. The MRCC is always looking at ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of waste handling and in the Bomag they have found a product best able to maximise their Landfill airspace, provide excellent reliability and exceed all the operational staff’s safety requirements in what can be a hazardous workplace. The new Bomag BC772RB-2 weighs in at 36.5 ton, has a very powerful 330Kw Deutz engine and is fitted with exclusive Bomag premium teeth which are guaranteed for a minimum 10,000 hours of life. The Bomag is very popular with operation staff as its quietness, excellent visibility and ease of operation ensure the operator is comfortable and fully productive for the entire day.
