Are you mechanically minded, reliable and keen to build a career working with construction and earthmoving equipment?
Tutt Bryant Equipment is looking for a hands-on Trades Assistant to join our Mawson Lakes workshop. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, assist with new machine builds and gain practical experience with equipment from leading global brands including Yanmar, Sumitomo, Metso and BOMAG.

About the role
Working alongside our experienced trades team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with new machine builds
- Supporting qualified mechanics with workshop tasks
- Unloading containers
- Completing daily site and workshop checks
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised workshop areas
- Following company safety and environmental requirements
- Assisting with other general workshop duties as required
About you
You will be a practical and dependable person with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in machinery or the mechanical field.
To be successful, you will have:
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in the mechanical field
- The ability to work independently and show initiative
- Good time management skills
- Good communication and literacy skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- A current South Australian driver licence
- Flexibility to work after hours when required
A current forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential. Forklift training may be provided if required.
