Tutt Bryant transports vessel from NSW to SA

TBHL&S have successfully completed the transit of a 140 tonne pressure vessel from Sawtell, NSW to Olympic Dam, SA. The 140 tonne vessel measured @ 55.0m/L x 7.2m/W x 6.2m/H with a total gross mass of 252 tonne.

The convoy and support services consisted of 37 personnel & 23 vehicles including TBHL&S escorts, management and engineers. A testament to the organisational skills of the crew, they obtained 20 separate approvals from various authorities in six weeks to ensure the move would go ahead.

The transit of the pressure vessel was completed over a 10 day period with supervision & support services supplied by various councils and police in both NSW and SA. TBHL&S’ sister company Tutt Bryant Hire also provided ancillary services for the traversing of the more difficult areas throughout the journey.

The load arrived at Olympic Dam, SA site within the given timeframe.
